I have just recieved news that our member Greg Foster has passed away. Greg has been a member of our club for 6 years. I offer my condulances to all his friends and family. Coldwater has been asked to organize a paddle out at Bolinas for Greg, I will be letting everyone know date and time ASAP. I write to you from the wilds of Colorado, all is well with myself and my family. As most of you know by now our greater extended Ohana has been rocked by a great tragedy, the loss of Greg "The Foz" Foster. His parents called me last night to tell me the news that had already been brought to me by Bro Dan Low. I thought you all should know that Greg passed with out suffering and was working on his beloved boat at the time of his accident. His parents Jim and Chris Foster of Petaluma are struggling as we all are at this loss. However their spirits are being lifted by the out pouring of love from the local surf community, Jim told me that he had no idea just how many people's lives Greg had touched. He's a good friend with a beautiful smile that will live with us all. So if you think about it stop by High Tide and give Len and Lynda a hug I wish I had more elloquent words for you, but typing through these tears is hard. Mahalo my Brothers I Love and miss you all.

We will be rolling back to thecollection of yearly dues.
Club dues will be 35$ per person this yearbecause we do not have
any shirts made up. These funds will help cover
club expenses and help provide a end of the year party and monthly
newsletter. We will no longer be covering contest fees for members due
to the non-payments of this last year. All the club dues will be taken
prior to the club contest which is Morro Bay which usually falls
around Valentines day in February.
